We, Tech2B B.V., process personal data in a careful, diligent manner and in compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation. By means of this privacy statement, we would like to inform you about the personal data we process, the processing activities we conduct and your rights as a data subject.
In order to use the services that Tech2B provides, you have to register your company by creating an account. For this purpose, you will be asked to provide certain (personal) data, such as your name, sex, email address, bank account number and phone number. Tech2B processes these data in order to create the company account and to ensure that the services that Tech2B provides on its website and platform (“website”) can be used (where applicable, after payment of fees). The processing of your personal data in this regard is necessary in light of performance of the contract to which you are a party, or to which your employer is a party.
In order to facilitate communication between registered users on the website, Tech2B may process your contact details. Processing of such personal data is necessary in light of the legitimate interests of Tech2B, to enable communication and collaboration between users. Tech2B also analyses (user) interactions that take place on the website. In this regard, Tech2B processes data, for example on which email address uses certain functionalities on the website. Such data is processed in light of the legitimate interests of Tech2B, in order to optimise (use of) the website.
Tech2B informs its users by email about products and services that are offered by Tech2B, in order to keep users informed about relevant activities of Tech2B. Such messages are only sent to you if you are a registered user of the Tech2B website or if you have indicated that you would like to receive such messages. The processing of your personal data in this regard is based on the legitimate interest of Tech2B to inform (potential) users or clients of relevant updates. You can unsubscribe from such mailings at any time.
Tech2B also processes personal data of job applicants, such as name and email address (and possibly also additional data as provided by the job applicant, e.g. in his or her CV). The processing of such data is based upon the legitimate interest of Tech2B and/or (implicit) consent as provided by the job applicant.
Tech2B transfers personal data to third parties that support the website or enable certain functions that are available on the website. For example, the party that hosts the website (Amazon Web Services), the party that enables the chat function on the website (CometChat) and the party that facilitates payment of membership fees (Stripe). Tech2B does not use automated decision-making functionalities when processing personal data.
We will ensure that the personal data that we process is adequately protected, and – where necessary - conclude data processing agreements with third parties that process personal data on our behalf. We store personal for as long as necessary in light of the purpose of processing.
You, as a data subject, have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether or not personal data about you is being processed, and if so, access to such data. Additionally, you have the right to request for rectification of such data (e.g. if the data is incorrect) and/or erasure of your personal data. You also have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data (e.g. if the data is no longer needed in light of the purposes of processing). You may withdraw your consent to a specific processing activity, and you may also object against specific processing activities. You also have the right to data portability.
Requests to exercise your rights can be shared with us via email@example.com. We will respond to incoming requests within four weeks. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. the Dutch Supervisory Authority or Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), in case you find that your rights regarding the processing of personal data are being violated by us.
